John Pollock and Phil Chertok present the UFC 247 POST Show recapping Saturday’s card from Houston, Texas with Jon Jones and Valentina Shevchenko defending their championships.
In the main event, Jon Jones attempted to set the record for most wins in a UFC championship fight by defending his title against undefeated Dominick Reyes. In the co-feature, Valentina Shevchenko entered her fight with Katlyn Chookagian as a heavy favorite. Plus, heavyweights Justin Tafa and Juan Adams squared off, a featherweight fight between rising fighters Dan Ige and Mirsad Bektic, and Derrick Lewis welcomed Ilir Latifi to the heavyweight division.
John & Phil shared their scorecards for all the fights that went the distance, the announcer’s reaction to some of the judging, the close main event and why people were upset, and a look ahead at next month’s UFC 248 card.
