| 1:02.0 | Surprisingly, if you look at where we spend our time, us business owners and entrepreneurs, even leaders of sales teams themselves, we spend almost no time improving our ability to close. |
| 1:16.0 | While everyone's attention is scrambled all over the place, deluded in 3,500 different directions, there's probably many of you that could be working significantly less hours and making substantially more money by learning how to master the one conversation close. |
| 1:36.0 | And in essence, if you were to focus on one key metric in your company or for yourself as a small business owner, really looking at getting three quality prospect conversations a week, and you close one to two of them, |
| 1:51.0 | or if you're running a bigger team or you have a sales team, if you got each person talking to three more prospects a week and closing one to two of them, your business would absolutely explode. |
| 2:03.0 | And when I have help clients to implement this in their businesses, they have literally been shocked and astounded at how quickly this moves the needle on the profitability of the organization and how easy it is to start getting results if you actually focus on it. |
| 2:20.0 | In almost every business I coach, if each member of the team closed just one more client a week, it would impact the business and the business owner's life in ways beyond what you could imagine. |
| 2:33.0 | Even if you the business owner are the only person selling right now, this is a core area that I implore you to really decide to make a priority this year. |
| 2:44.0 | Social media has everyone so confused and don't get me wrong. Social media is one of the biggest drivers for sales in our business. |
| 2:53.0 | I don't have anything against social media. I love it and I use it, but it's a tool. It's not the business and it's not the only thing that you should be relying on to grow your business. |

| 3:04.0 | While people are out there tracking followers and likes and comments and hearts and tweets and everything else in between and looking at this huge voluminous number that they're trying to aspire to get to. |
| 3:20.0 | Meanwhile, many of those people that have those huge numbers on social media aren't even really making a profit from it. |
| 3:27.0 | You could close just 50 clients in your small business at 1650 a month and all of a sudden you're running a million dollar business. |
| 3:36.0 | Or slice that right in half. If you're at 515 a month average billing per client, you only need 161 clients to get to a million dollar business. |
