| 1:00.0 | Because every time we dream a bigger dream and every time we set a bigger goal for ourselves, we're challenged with the thinking what makes us think that we're the ones that are going to be able to accomplish this goal. |
| 1:13.0 | What makes us think that we deserve to achieve that level of greatness, of success, of value, of magnitude, of impact, right? |
| 1:23.0 | We all have that little voice in our head that makes us question if we really can accomplish the things that mean the most to us and really are going to create the life for us that we're truly craving, that we want, that we desire, and that we deserve. |
| 1:39.0 | The truth is you absolutely were given those dreams and you were given those goals for a reason. That's right. I want you to remember that. |
| 1:47.0 | You were given those dreams and you were given those goals for a reason, and it's because you deserve to achieve them. |
| 1:56.0 | But we talk about this all the time on the show and the same rings true here, which is that it's always mindset before mechanics. |
| 2:04.0 | It's always going to be your mindset that determines whether or not you achieve a goal because your mindset determines whether or not you take imperfect action. |
| 2:13.0 | And perfect action is the gap between where you are and where you want to be. |
| 2:19.0 | It's that willingness to take risks, to take chances, to try new things, to expose yourself with the intention of capitalizing on the opportunity that can only be made available when you put yourself out there. |
| 2:33.0 | And a big and bold way. So there's a couple ways to conquer imposter syndrome. |
| 2:38.0 | But the first one is you have to wrap your head around the fact that everyone who's accomplished what you want to accomplish started from a very similar place to where you might be today. |
| 2:50.0 | Meaning that when they journeyed down that path, there was a first time that they were setting out to do something when they had imposter syndrome. |
| 3:00.0 | There was a first time that they went to do something where they didn't have a whole lot of experience or case studies or testimonials or social proof. |
| 3:08.0 | There was a time where they were going out to sell a product or a service or maybe sell themselves for the first time with literally no credentials, no experience and no results to speak of. |
