Summary
We've talked a lot about automation, delegation, outsourcing, and deleting.
This episode is a little different. Today, Kelly is walking you through the strategies that'll help you build more freedom into your future and improve the time spent on things that are already in your zone of genius... without adding more hours.
In this episode you'll learn:
-How to operate during your own peak hours when there are no distractions and you have a chance to get that day's most important task DONE.
-Why you need to group like things together, whether this is running all your errands in one shot or paying all of your bills at one time. If you can't handle what's on your plate, you waste more time trying to organize than trying to accomplish something.
-The most efficient ways to work within your genius zone... if you don't know how to do something, stop wasting your time and start finding people who can. You'll save time and sanity!
The biggest excuse entrepreneurs use is, "I don't have time."
The reality is... you do!

| 1:04.0 | But that's not what we're focused on here today. Today we're actually talking about the top three strategies that I use personally in the work that I do keep for myself in the things that are most important for me to get done and do these things to build my business around my life and not the other way around. |
| 1:23.0 | You see, one of my top values is freedom. And so every day I work to leverage my time and I look at and analyze my business and I ask myself, how can I set this up to support my life? |
| 1:37.0 | How can I get my business to be more supportive of the lifestyle that I want to live and build more freedom in the future, not less? |
| 1:47.0 | And so I'm constantly looking at how I can improve my personal productivity on the things that I do believe are in my genius soon, on the things that I do believe I can and should be doing, and how I can get more done in less time so I can continue to grow my business without adding more working hours. |
| 2:06.0 | And I thought this would help be helpful for you because I'm sure you probably have the same goal to make more money in less time to grow your business faster without working around the clock. |
| 2:16.0 | And so I thought I'd share some of my top strategies that have been most helpful for me. So let's dig in. |
| 2:24.0 | The first one is is operating in your own peak hours. So for me, my peak hours are from five until seven in the morning. I know that sounds crazy, but here's what I love about it. |
| 2:36.0 | Everybody in the house is still sleeping. My daughter's still asleep. My husband's still asleep. Even the dogs are still sleeping, which means there are no distractions. In fact, I'm recording this right now at 540 in the morning. |
| 2:49.0 | Now here's what I love about this. I get up at 5, I get my cup of coffee, I relax, I wake up, and then I get whatever the most important thing that I want to accomplish that day is done. |
| 3:02.0 | I operate at peak, meaning that I know that I can get the most done in the shortest amount of time from five until seven in the morning. |
| 3:11.0 | By the time my husband and my daughter are up for the day and the day goes crazy and emails are coming in and the phone is ringing, I've already accomplished my goals for the day. |
| 3:21.0 | The most important things that I need to do that day are already done. Now I know that that is peak for me. That doesn't mean that that's going to be peak for you. |
| 3:31.0 | So there's a couple of things that you need to consider. Number one, when do you work best? Are you a morning person or are you a night owl? Are you better in the middle of the day? Are you beginning at better at the beginning or the end of the day, right? |
| 3:44.0 | So first you have to ask yourself when do you operate at peak, meaning when do you have best brain function, when do you have the most energy, when do you have the clearest head and the most focus? |
| 3:54.0 | And then the second question you have to ask yourself is when do you have the least distraction and the strongest ability to bang through the most stuff, the fastest to get as much done in as little time as possible. |
