He, however, currently serves as James Madison's head coach. In his 16 years as a college head coach, he has won eight conference championships.

He's got a winning percentage of 721. He was named the Sunbell Conference Coach of the year this season. James Madison is 12 and 1. They are the 12 seed in the college football playoff. Are you getting any sleep? It's a little bit different because of three-hour, you know, time zone difference. There's a benefit in there that I could get through everything I need to get through here throughout the day and then use those hours in evening to just balance it out and make sure that I'm paying attention and doing everything I got to do out west. So, yeah, I'm hanging in there, Jim. I'm hanging in there. But I'm sure like all of us, it's a challenge.

All right. So I'm going to decode that. You're not getting any sleep either. You're also not

like the rest of them.

I get that it's a game week and it's a monster matchup ahead of this Saturday. But it's

already been a quote, December to remember for you and your program,

how would you describe what it's been like to earn a spot in the college football playoff and

accept your new position at UCLA both? Yeah, so there's obviously challenges that come with that and

just keeping our guys focused on the main thing, which is getting a chance to win the Sunbelt

and then putting ourselves in a situation where we can play in the college football playoff. And that's what we set out at the beginning of the year. That's what we talked about. That was our expectations. I think the outside world had expectations of us winning the Sunbelt. We had more. And I think for us to be able to accomplish this goal of getting to the second half of the season, which we are in now in this 12-team playoff, but the new season starts now. Obviously, there's a little bit of juggling that has to go on in there, but everything we talk about with our team is, you know, when we're considering and listening to that outside noise of where we end up next year, that's next year. That has nothing to do with this year. This year, we have to stay focused on the task at hand and completing this mission.
