allies and more in line with adversaries, especially when it comes to Ukraine. The United Nations

voted on a resolution to condemn Russia's

invasion and call for all of Ukraine's territory to be returned. European countries voted in support of it,

but the U.S. voted against it, along with North Korea, Iran, and other countries that typically

side with Russia. The U.S. then put up its own resolution that never mentioned Russia being the

aggressor just called for the end of the war. Well, Europe added some amendments to it that put in how

the conflict happened because of Russia's invasion. Russia added its own amendment to calling for

root causes of the conflict to be addressed. And that version passed, even though the U.S. did not

vote one way or another on it.
