At his virtual town hall last night, President Trump explained that he believes the United

States is on the right path to reopening and hopes doing so will revitalize the American

economy and help millions of Americans who found themselves unemployed as a result of this

pandemic.

More than a dozen states have announced they are easing restrictions and reopening.

Many of those states prioritizing the reopening of businesses hit hardest by shelter-in-place

orders such as food and drink establishments, retail.

At the town hall, President Trump also expressed the fact that he believes China had severely

failed in its efforts to deal with the coronavirus from the beginning.

He also said his administration planned to get to the bottom of what happened and how the

virus spread from China.
