If you believe the children are our future, the future is looking pretty good for Apple.

Apple Insider has word of Piper Sandler's latest taking stock with Teen Survey, quizzing just over 9,000 people last month and

49 states across the US with an average age of 15.7 years, basically things are looking steady.

When this survey was last run back in April,

87% of participants said they owned an iPhone,

while 88% said their next phone would be an iPhone, those numbers are

unchanged for the September survey. Apple Watch slowed a tiny bit. In April 35% of kids surveyed said they owned an Apple Watch. That was down to 34% in September.

The firm says Apple Pay, ranked number one for payment apps used within the last month at 42%

that was followed by Cash App with 27% having used it in the month prior.

Interestingly more kids have VR devices, though they are using them less.

The ownership number went from 29 percent in April to 31% last month.

However, the report says actual usage of VR devices declined from around 14% to 10%.
