It's the media buzz meter with Howard Kurtz.

There is a certain irony here with CBS dumping Stephen Colbert and turning this long goodbye all of the shows that he's been able to do since the word came down.

Of course, that's tied up with politics, and it's also tied up with Colbert's decision

to turn himself into, you know, a leading anti-Trump liberal voice in television,

which is beloved by many people and which has alienated half the audience who thinks that he goes way too

far and criticizing the president anyway. He does more and more and more anti-CBS stuff and what are

they going to do? They've already fired him. And so the last few weeks, and I'll have more

to say about this tomorrow, has just been this cavalcade

of A-list stars on last night's show for example

they did a thing where he

Colbert usually gives a questionnaire to guess

well they flipped it and he was the one

answering the questions and each star

would come out to ask one question

And, you know, it was a good bit.

Bruce Springsteen has been playing music and speaking out and saying this is because Larry and David Ellison, the new owners of Paramount,

feel they need to kiss his ass to get what they want, the his being obviously the president of the United States.

And Jimmy Kimmel last night said that, you know, he and the other Jimmy airing reruns.

It would be tonight, Thursday night, and you should

watch CBS, and then Kimmel said, and then never watch again.

It's kind of a funny way to call for a boycott.
