staying was an easy decision. It was more when my time was done and deciding, you know,

what I want to do. Did I want to enter the NWSA? Because I had obviously already been drafted,

or if I wanted to go overseas, I felt like that was the hardest decision. But I think staying

true to myself and in kind of knowing which voices to kind of amplify and which to quiet

made it quite simple for me because I knew I always had a dream to play abroad. I knew I always

wanted to play in the WSL. And I felt like if I had stayed and went straight away to an NWSL

team, it would have been much harder to leave. So I was like, you know, if I leave and for whatever

reason it doesn't work out the way I want, I can always go home.

And yeah, four years later, I haven't gone home.

On May 10th, the Cinderella story of the F.A. Cup, Brighton, punching their ticket to Wembley after beating Liverpool, 3-2.

The team reached their first ever F. FAA Cup final after seven match on beaten

streak. And one of the key pieces to their success is the subject of our interview today.

And that is Madison Haley. The Dallas, Texas native joined Bryan in July of 2023 and has been

on a tear ever since notching four goals and three assists in the WSL

this season. And she also just so happened to score Brighton's equalizer against Liverpool

in that FAA cup semi-final. The athletics, Megan Ferenga, sat down with Haley to talk about her

journey in the WSL and the upcoming FAA Cup final this Sunday.
