On the second day of the two-week ceasefire, no U.S. forces are being sent home with 50-thousand U.S. service members, the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, 16 warships and more than a dozen air squadrons remaining in place. 1:05.7	Vice President J.D. Vance is looking at a weekend in Pakistan. Well, he'll participate in talks to end hostilities with Iran. He spoke to reporters this week about the recent two-week ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran.
1:14.8	I'm happy about where we are. I think the president has struck a good deal for the American people, but fundamentally the Iranians have got to take the next step where the president has a lot of options to go back to the war. This deal's already hit a snag. The Middle Eastern nation is
1:18.8	accusing the United States and Israel of not abiding by the negotiations because Israel continues
1:23.3	to strike Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries,
1:28.0	saying the ceasefire is not enough to end the threat of further violence and rising costs.
1:32.7	We need a permanent end to Donald Trump's costly and reckless war of choice.
1:40.3	And House Democrats are committed to bringing about that outcome.
1:46.3	Things really could go in any way this point as the world waits and watches.
1:50.8	I think the vice president is absolutely accurate with describing it as exceptionally fragile,
1:54.6	and he would know since he's heading to Pakistan to continue the negotiations.
