2024 could see the expansion of so-called medical aid and dying in the U.S.

10 states, plus Washington, D.C. already have legalized medically assisted suicide

and just last month a so-called death with dignity bill was introduced in Virginia

making it one of 17 states considering similar legislation.

Now proponents claim that made honors dignity by allowing quote people who are used to being in control of their lives to make decisions at the end of life.

In reality however doctors in relation sidestep to duty to care that human dignity demands.

In fact, even the adoption of this Canadian wording, medical aid, and dying should alarm us.

Of the many euphemism used for this deadly practice, this one's the most deceptive.

Made is neither medical nor is it assistance and dying.

It's not about healing or comfort, nor is it about assisting someone as they suffer.

In fact, in 2022, Made was the fifth leading cause of death in Canada.

4.1% of all deaths there and we do not want that to expand here.
