Will a tech surge save Obamacare?

President at Obama conceded today that health care.gov, the Obamacare website is not working the way it's supposed to.

He promised the best and the brightest tech gurus will fix it and insisted that applicants who do get through are thrilled with the product.

Republicans want some accountability.

people soon enough to avoid a disaster? Also today, in the aftermath of Egypt's ouster of an elected

president, the U.S. has curtailed some military assistance. Egypt is outraged. We'll look at the

consequences for their relationship and for the rest of the Middle East. First, there's the news.

Egypt says relations with the United States are in turmoil after the cancellation of some American military assistance. Later we'll ask which country needs the other the most. First, this news update, in the Rose Garden with a group of apparently satisfied customers of the Affordable Care Act, the president said it is working fine, but he conceded major problems with the

website, health care.gov. Nobody's more frustrated by that than I am. Precisely because the product is

good. I want the cash registers to work. I want the checkout lines to be smooth. So I want people to be able to get this great product.

And there's no excuse for the problems.

The president did not hold anyone accountable for those problems, but he did promise they are going to be fixed.

Experts from some of America's top private sector tech companies, who, by the way, have seen

things like this happen before, they want it to work.
