U.S. economic growth accelerated dramatically during the third quarter.

The Commerce Department's initial estimate for growth in the three months ending in September

came in at a far better than expected 4.9%.

That's the fastest annualized rate of growth in nearly two years.

Federal regulators have finalized new rules for labeling meat products as organic.

Standards include humane living conditions such as year-round access to the outdoors.

Organic farmers pushed for the rules saying they will help them better compete with producers who label

their products organic, but don't treat animals as well.
