The reason is not a lack of demand. In fact, referrals for treatment there are 20 times higher than 10 years ago.

Instead, the clinic has received wide criticism from an independent report for their practices.

A former consultant psychiatrist agrees, quote, some children there have gotten

the double problem of living with the wrong treatment and the original problems not addressed,

with complex problems like trauma, depression, and large instances of autism. While countries like

the UK are questioning these wrongly named gender affirmation treatments for gender dysphoria,

clinics, academics, and the executive

branch of the U.S. government have doubled down.

We should stop.
