With a one minute look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with the point.

Recently, the UK's National Health Service announced a new clinical policy barring the prescription

of puberty blocking drugs or minors.

This decision comes after a years- long public debate around so-called

transgender care, first started by a surge of referrals to the UK's Avestock Gender Clinic.

After claims of malpractice, the NHS commissioned an independent review of that clinic which closed.

The review found and I quote no statistically significant difference in gender dysphoria,

mental health, body image, and psychosocial functioning in children and

adolescents treated with puberty blockers.

And review of additional data led the NHS to conclude that there is not enough evidence

to support the safety or effectiveness of

puberty blockers to make the treatments routinely available at this time.

While in fact, puberty blockers are neither safe nor reversible,

something even the World Professional Association for Transgender Health,

the leading Transgender Medical Organization, recently was caught admitting, thank God that

the UK government's willing to protect their kids.

Hopefully, the US will now follow suit.
