You know, every year we get stocked up with things like bite-sized Mars bars, twixes, and you know, various packets of jelly sweets and things like that, in case we get trick or treaters coming around, you know, but we never do. Which I don't mind. I always dread running out of sweets and having to say no to kids, and

them, you know, punishing me. So I always buy too many sweets, even though year on year we never actually get any kids calling on us

which I also don't mind because it means then that I have a justification for eating all those sweets myself, even though things like Mars

bars today are so intensely sweet that they almost hurt your teeth when you eat them, you know?

It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it

either that or you know just leave them in the cupboard till next year do they last
