The On December 1st, people all over the world will open the first door of their Advent calendar, counting down the days to Christmas Day.

But here on the Twilight Zone podcast, our Advent calendar is one of a different kind.

This Advent calendar counts down to the 99th birthday of Rod Sailing,

which also happens to be on December 25th.

So to mark this every day leading up to the Great Man's birthday for one month only,

we will be switching format to something I'm calling the Twilight's own Advent calendar.

A question or discussion point a day which has been posed to us by members of the After

Hours Club over on Patreon at patreon.com slash Twilight Zone podcast.

And I have two good friends helping me out with this on alternate days.

So to kick things off, I'm welcoming my good friend Emmy, who co-hosts a monthly

podcast with me where we look at later versions of the Twilight Zone. So Emmy, welcome to the big

time. Welcome back to the main show. Well, thank you very much. I'm delighted to be suddenly

stepping out onto the big stage here. Well, it's good to have you.

So we will get straight into it, our day one question, and this comes from George, but it also

comes from our good friend Al Sherdsman. They both asked the same question. So George says,

what is your favourite in-scene rod- rod sailing intro and what makes a great intro?

And I'll ask the same question about our favourite insane rod sailing intro.
