The Day 14 of the Twilight Zone Advent calendar and we have a question from our mutual friend who is currently campaigning to be president of Canada, I think.

It is Brandon Shea Matala, and he says, what's your hot take Twilight's own opinion that would get your fan card revoked?

Good.

Well, first of all, shout out to Brandon.

We are both friends with Brandon and good to hear from him here. And he is the master. This is a great question from him because he is the master of the hot takes to get your cards revoked. this guy has if you've heard any of our podcasts with him over the years he has the most absurd

takes and i love him for it and that's why he's such a fun guy to talk to about this stuff.

For me, it would be long-distance call is the best Bill Moomy episode. It's better than

it's a good life, and it's got that, like, real-world uncomfortablenessableness of like this family with some weird dynamics.

And it's not something you expect from a 1960s TV show.

And then the ambiguity.

And I love that's something I've always come back to with Twilight Zone.

It doesn't always have to be this way, but the ambiguity of like, was the grandma's ghost like talking to him on the phone? We never hear it, right? The mom here, she says she hears him breathe and maybe she's in her own head about it. But it was just the fact that you take this everyday harmless little fun object, like a toy telephone, it becomes this dark, sinister thing, and it plays into this weird family dynamics they had set up with, you know, a wife, a husband,

a son, and a grandma, and what's going on there. I just think it was great. And Bill Moomy's great. And you can see why he went on to great things. And, of course, it's overshadowed by the legendary. It's a good life. And then in Praise of Pip is a great episode, too. So Bill Moomy is three for three. But to me, this is my favorite

one of his. I think it's the best one of the three. And I think it's because it's a videotaped episode, honestly, that it really gets left off a lot of people's radar. I'm always going to say it's a good life is my favorite Moomy because that one just really works for me. But I won't give you too much of a time a hard time about that.

I get to keep my card, you can keep your cards.

Because I think it's a positive hot take. Mine is maybe veering a bit more the other way.

So mine is that time enough at last wouldn't be in my Twilight Zone top 10.
