Yeah, they wanted to give South Carolina the first primary.

This is a kickback to Jim Clyburn, who holds a lot of power in the party, and despite New Hampshire not really obliging.

They're just kind of charging ahead as is, but it's non-binding.

It doesn't really count.

So they are just continuing with what they would do otherwise and South Carolina has the first official primary.
