thick and fast for more strike action next month. Ambulance workers were the latest this afternoon.

It was announced 10,000 of them will be taking industrial action. So one of the disputes about

well will take them in turn. The CWU is the union representing royal male workers. They're

demanding pay rises in line with increases in the cost of living. And Dave Ward, the union's

general secretary has stated that the terms of the dispute don't end there. He spoke to BBC

breakfast this morning about Simon Thompson, the boss of royal male. What he's putting in front

of our members, no union, no worker would ever accept. So let me just explain one or two of those

points. He's asking us to accept that thousands upon thousands of our members will be sat

at the same time as they are bringing in self-employed drivers, new entrants on 20% less paid terms

in conditions. And whilst they're also retaining over 11,000 agency workers, that's not acceptable.
