too long. It has been too long. I was quite excited today when I realized I was going to be

back with you. We're going to talk about the economy. I was going into the ground. We're going to

talk about Twitter. Elon Musk seems to be running that into the ground and we are talking about

the Qatar World Cup. Obviously, we're talking about the ethics of it very quickly. I know you

excited for the football element of what we're about to witness. How to say, really? I mean,

it's unprecedented. There's never been a Christmas World Cup. I mean, it's something to look

forward to in the depths of winter from a football perspective. I think it's going to be really

interesting seeing European teams trying to adapt, playing in the Gulf. I know there's air

condition stadiums. I know they're mostly playing at night, but I think teams like England, Germany,

France, obviously the Scandinavians, they might not struggle. Look, this might come back to bite

me on the backside, one of them might win it, but I suspect they're going to struggle.

And maybe a few big names might go out early. So I think it'd be interesting. We are going to come

back to that as our final story. It's the day after Jeremy Hunt delivered his highly-anticipated

autumn statement. And the country's economists and commentators have been pouring over the details

of the tax and spend changes the Chancellor has planned. But beyond the policy changes that have

been promised, there is one fact that stands out above all others. The UK economy is screwed.

The Office for Budget Responsibility are the official watchdog who look over government finances.

They have said that the next two years will see the biggest hits to household incomes ever.
