Solidarity, if you are one of the half million workers striking today against real-terms pay cuts

after a decade of wage stagnation, this show is all about you.

I'm doing good. I had a really good day at the NEU demo.

So the LSE, UCU, we all went down, did the march.

And yeah, it was a great day, a wonderful day to strike.

I've been in the studio. I didn't make it to a pick about my Instagram stories,

it's full of people seeming in very high spirits.

The numbers looked massive. So yeah, it looks like it's been a real success.

We're going to be talking about that later in the show.

We have some things which are less successful,

including Matt Hancock's interview with Good Morning Britain.

Up to half a million workers are striking across the country

in the biggest day of industrial action in a decade.

On striker workers from across the public sector who are fighting for better pay,

decent conditions, and greater funding for essential services.

They include teachers from the NEU across England and Wales,

who turned out in huge numbers in rallies and on picket lines across the country.

23,000 schools in England and Wales were affected.
