All right, here we are hanging out as we gear up for the Sweet 16 for the 2026

Sweet 16 now the teams have been whittled down.

We figured with no local teams remaining, why not do a little flashback?

13 years later on this date when the LaSalle Explores Men team made that run to the Sweet 16.

And at least for the outside basketball world they were

introduced to the Southwest Philly floater by my guy right here Ty Garland hanging out with us on the

Ph. L.Y. Sixers podcast. What's up, cuz? What's going on? Nothing much. Excited about, you know,

little basketball, a little run, little tournament run.

We were talking about it, as you were saying on this day, because when the play-in starts

on a Tuesday, there's no games.

There's no games.

So just a great day to fill in, some great history, and get the basketball headstore

rolling to get functional for the tournament coming up this weekend, man.

Yeah, man.

So as we kind of flash back to that time, you guys went on a miraculous run.

You were a bubble team at that point, John Giannani's team.

You guys had to go in the play-in, defeat Boise State in that play-in where it was a good game overall.

Overall good game.

Then on to taking on Kansas State.

And where was it?

In Kansas City.

Oh, he gave you a road game.
