draft. And Carter and I know nothing about the draft. So having one person that's sitting here

like a dummy, just asking questions probably is going to be sufficient, especially when we bring in a great guest, like today's guest, Stephen Gillespie of the No Ceilings podcast, No Ceilings Network, substack, all that good stuff. Stephen, how are you doing today?

Man, Justin, I am great. I'm so grateful to be on the show today. And I, you call me an expert and other people do too. I also know nothing. And I think everybody who studies the draft will admit that as well because, man, sometimes things just don't work out the way that we expect, but I couldn't be more thrilled to be here today and talk about who the cavalier's picked up. Well, it's always such a tricky thing when you talk about prospects, right? Because you can look at how

someone performs at a high level, whether it's college, whether it's internationally, and

where they end up, what the context is, what opportunities they get, the player development, all that stuff

that helps them translate those skills to the NBA level is a wildcard.

You can make informed guesses, but just because you're not always right doesn't mean that

your process, your thought process to analyze these guys is off.

But let's talk about, let's kick things off actually. We're talking about what you

didn't know, what you didn't expect with. I want to know, what was your biggest surprise of this

year's draft? The biggest surprise of this year's draft, I think a lot of people would go Hanson Yang

or Yang Hanson is how we're pronouncing it now that he's in the NBA going to

the Portland Trailblazers. And that one's probably true. But I'll tell you that until that we got

over at no ceilings, we had the first like seven of eight picks correct, but really it was

pick nine that I think really swung how the rest of the board fell for NBA teams.

And that was Colin Murray Boyles going to Toronto.

I think a lot of people were expecting Noah Essenge to go to that spot,

especially with the way that he was interviewing when he was asked about whose film he said he's.

And I think he mentioned every Toronto Raptors player ever.
