books. I mean just an absolute slew of books and they're all amazing.

One of them is called the year-round vegetable gardener.

I would say maybe that's the one you're most known for, Nicki?

Definitely, yeah.

That one, I think it was the right time on a topic that a lot of people want to learn about.

For sure, yeah, but she's also got groundbreaking food gardens, veggie garden remix, and then her

latest book, Growing Undercover, which is what we're going to be talking about this this week came out last year

well happy to you kevin and thank you so much for having me. I didn't know I was one of your more frequent guests, which is truly an honor because you know how much I love listening to the podcast.

Yeah, I mean, I think every time you come on, everyone loves it and I love it so you know I have a copy of the book it's

sitting on my desk right now along with actually Jessica Wallister's book who is one of your

partners over at savvyvy Gardening.

And so I figured growing undercover, not a topic that you would imagine I would have a whole lot of experience

with because just the temperatures and the climate around my area doesn't really require it but I think as we'll learn in this week

That's not really the only reason you would grow under cover. So why don't we start out with just what what is a garden cover just the bare bones basics
