| 1:19.1 | Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show, episode 112. |
| 1:23.1 | A special episode today because we are joined by Yankees infield prospect and outfield prospect |
| 1:28.5 | now, Tyler Wade. Scott, it was a lot of fun to talk to him. Yeah, don't call me a prospect, though. I'm just part of the Yankees organization. Right. We need to make sure we get our language right now. But yeah, no, it was a lot of fun. It's very obvious now that these guys, and we've talked through a few of them already in the past, you know, three, four months. |
| 1:26.8 | And these guys understand what's going on. They see what's happening around them, the way that the Yankees organization is going. They're not numb to it. They do understand, and they talk about it, which I like, I do like. People may not like the fact that these guys are looking forward, but why not? They have a goal and it seems like they all want to achieve it together and they want to get their, you know, to the promise land into the Bronx as a unit and play some good baseball. So I'm excited and he's definitely a cool guy. |
| 2:14.6 | It was good to talk to him because I was doing some research for the podcast and there's not a ton out there as far as bio info on his life because he's a little bit lesser known of a guy in the Yankee system. He's still fighting his way through the organization. He's been playing in AA. So I mean, really this was like a learning experience for the two of us and obviously for all the fans that we'll be listening. We find a lot about what type of guy he is what he does in the offseason and how he's been handling himself in the Yankees organization these last couple years yeah and it doesn't really seem work ethic is ever going to be an issue for this kid i mean he's he's got his uh his his eye on the prize for sure i mean he wants to be part of the organization it seems like the yankees are moving him around a little bit more outfield infield different positions just to give him some more flexibility it seems like we're hearing that trend for a lot of these guys just to see what they have and more flexibility uh to get some of them into the major leagues so you know i i think that um he was even talking about being like a utility role guy. |
