On September 10, 2025, a Turning Point USA rally at Utah Valley University turned into a crime scene when conservative

activist Charlie Kirk was killed during a live event. Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old from Utah,

has been accused of the shooting and is currently facing seven charges and the possibility of the death penalty.

The legal battle has since shifted from the Utah campus

to a Provo courtroom, where the defense is currently in a dispute

over whether the entire Utah County Attorney's Office should be disqualified.

Robinson's team alleges a conflict of interest because the adult child of a prosecutor

was in the crowd and witnessed the murder firsthand.

This brings us to the latest development. The defense is now fighting to block a graphic video of the assassination from being shown in open court.

Robinson's team argues that showing the highly disturbing video is irrelevant and could impact his right to a fair trial.

The next update in this case will be the judge's ruling on this evidence during a major hearing scheduled February 3rd, 2026.

Sky, thank you for being here, and the fact that you are Utah attorney is just going to be so

critical because all of this obviously grounds in state law, and there are so many eyes

on the Tyler Robertson case.

and everything is being done to push this downrange,
