Golf Course architect Tyler Ray. Tyler is one of the bright young architects in the

golf industry. He has worked for Keith Foster, Bill Kour, and Ben Crenshaw, and most recently Ron Pritchard.

I joined Tyler to check out his work at Beverly Country Club in Chicago.

342 I think left existing, you know, about 45 of those have been altered you know beyond recognition so there's

two hundred ninety seven left better in the flesh yeah I probably have thirty or so

left how many of the Yeah, I probably have 30 or so left.

How many of the, say 290 that are in the flesh are close to their original, or, you know, is there a percentage that you would say are close to what they originally were

They are probably

Gosh probably 60% that are pretty solid that are you know that haven't had all the

greens blown up and routings altered so we're saying probably maybe 180 to 200, you know are really good and solid still out there.

Ross is an architect that now I feel like almost every major city has like a public down Ross course and whenever I

Somebody asked me for recommendations in different cities I always say I always look up like Ross

courses in the area because it's usually a pretty sure bet that it's going to be decent and

you know amazingly it's always it always seems like those courses are also the most affordable ones in
