in the intervening seven days, yet another black man has been needlessly shot by the police.

The man's name is Jacob Blake.

You have likely read the details by now, perhaps you have even seen the video

of his shooting.

Once again, an armed white officer,

surrounded by other armed officers.

Shoplake.

He is now reported to be paralyzed.

He is the father of six children, three of whom are said to have been sitting in the backseat of the car.

There is no silver lining to this story.

That he survived does not erase the incident and it doesn't absolve the parties

responsible for this. More details will be released I imagine in the weeks
