At her request, I'm not revealing her real name, but I have confirmed her identity with former leaders at IHOP who knew her. Jamie was a member of Tyler Deaton's cult from when

he was a student at Southwestern University near Austin, Texas. And when the cult moved to Kansas

City to be near IHop, Jamie was one of the last students from Southwestern to relocate.

Jamie was good friends with Bethany, Tyler's wife, and she is the first person who was in the

cult when Bethany died to speak publicly about what happened. In this podcast, you'll hear her
