And let's give you the update to an execution

of a Texas man who has been living on death row

for nearly the past 22 years after he was found guilty of

killing his two-year-old daughter by shaking her to death. Now Robert Roberson was

35 years old when he walked through the emergency room doors carrying his weak and

barely breathing two-year-old named Nicky. As nurses scooped the limp child from

Robert's arms, he explained to the staff that his daughter had fallen from her bed and the fall had caused a head injury.

Unfortunately, he said he didn't hear her fall and when he awoke and found her not breathing, he rushed the toddler to the hospital.

Doctors and nurses attempted to revive little Nicky, but all procedures failed,

and Nicky was pronounced dead on January 31st of 2002, just a short time after Robert had brought her to the ER.

Now Robert had some difficulties in his past.

During the years of 1991 to 1999, Robert had spent time

in prison for convicted burglary, theft, and then some various parole violations.

And during that tumultuous time in his life,

he had also attempted a family,

at one point marrying a woman

and having two children with her before divorcing.
