Today on CHGL Blackhawks, Mario and I are discussing a player that we think the Blackhawks could be targeting this offseason either via free agency or trade that we haven't discussed yet.

We've gone through a lot of names like J.J. Peturca and Bowen Byron and on and on and on, Jason Robertson.

But we're going to present each a name that we have not discussed yet.

Mario, why don't you start us off?

I have a free agent that I think the Blackhawks might fit what they're trying to do.

It's not a guy that's young.

It's not a guy that fits the timeline.

It's Pat Maroon.

But it is someone that is still serviceable. Okay. Has been around the NHL for a very long time and is not just going to be

someone that's going to be in the way for young guys. It's going to be someone that's going to be in

that room. One more leadership voice, one more guy that you can put in the lineup and trust. And I think you're going to,

you're going to find a guy that is motivated to, and probably energized by having, being around

some young, some young energy. Claude Jaroo. Ooh. Now, I know he just got, you know, a taste again of the postseason with the senators,

but things don't seem like they're going to work out for him in Ottawa to stick around.

Nothing works out for anyone in Ottawa.

He's 37 years old.

He'll turn 38 midseason.

But he had 50 points last year.

He's still very serviceable.

He's a guy that's been, you know, played in the cup final.

He's been in the postseason a number of times.

He's one of those long-term vets that you look at and you know, like, okay, he knows exactly what it means to be in the NHL. You know, he's a guy that you add to the forwards group and you say, yeah,
