Once again, giving up my sidekick chair while Clay Link is away. And filling in is the,

I guess he's the Benzobrist of the site, right? You do a little bit of everything you do,

and everything you do, you do well.

So we're happy to have Jason Collette on with me to help me rank the two stock pitchers,

talk a little bit about, well, there really aren't any deals to go down, have them, have there been?

Not of substance. Right now it's been playing on the margins. So let's see what happened between now and August 2nd since there's no more waiver trade deals.

It's, you know, if somebody's going to do something, they got to do it here in the next three days.

Well, because Jeff Erickson and I just recorded Saturday's MLB Network radio show,

you can be sure there's going to be stuff going down

tonight.

Oh, yeah, absolutely.

It always sets up like that.

Yeah, well, last week we didn't, last week we lost out on Vogelback.

We didn't, you know, we were looking, we didn't talk about Daniel Vogelback going.

Tyler Naquin is this week's Daniel, Daniel Logelback, both going to the Mets.

Anything really coming out of that? Anything for Cincinnati that we can look for? I couldn't find a

whole lot to really talk about. No, I mean, he was in the final year of a deal. They got a couple

of minor league pieces. It's what you expect for them. It's, you know, he was getting a regular playing time for the most part with Cincinnati. And so the ballpark switch is going to be a bit of a ding for him. And you're better at the park effects than I am. But I don't think it's going to be a good move for him going from a great American ballpark over to

City Field. So I'm sure there's an adjustment there. And I'm not sure he's going to see the same

volume of strong side platoon playing time that he was seeing with Cincinnati either.

You know, once the, once everything is settled on the Mets roster, because I doubt this is their only move.
