We heard Todd that this was a possibility, but it was on Sanga to accept the assignment or not.

And credit to him, he accepted it. The good team move, I would say, but probably the best for the team.

I'm sure it wasn't an easy pill to swallow given that that Senga, you know, he still has a 302

ERA for the season.

Kind of impressive, given that he has a six, five, six ERA over the last eight starts.

What do you make of this?

Do you think this is the, the Mets trying to get him on track and salvage him for the postseason?

Is that basically the extent of it?

I think it was probably framed such that if you want to make the postseason roster,

go down to Syracuse and show us something.

Because if you're working out of the bullpen,

you're going to be a long man, and we're probably not going to have room for you on our playoff roster. I don't know for sure, but that's more, you know, and then I think saying, well, you know what, I'd like to be on the playoff roster. So I think that may have been framed in that man. I don't know. speculation.
