Numerous reports today have that the nationals are calling up James Wood on Monday.

So we're going to see him this weekend, apparently. But a lot of people have him as the top prospect yet to debut in the big leagues.

He is a top five prospect on our list here at Rotowire and missed a little time with a hamstring injury this year, but he's been on fire at Rochester, 1036 OPS, 10 home runs, 10 steals and just 51 games.

You know I've had him stashed in a few leagues.

I'm excited to see what he can do.

Where do you see James Wood slotting in for Washington?

Well, I think it's interesting.

We were talking a little pre-podcast that the nationals are, I mean, announcing is coming up Monday.

I mean, you don't announce a top prospect is coming up in three days to sit him, you know?

So we got to play. And then we wouldn't, you know, looking at their outfield, he plays, and plays center, plays left.

I would say at this point, Jacob Young is probably the weak, I don't mean,

the weaker, the weakest link.

He's kind of inconsistent out there in center field.

So at minimum, would probably play 75% of the time in center field.

Young becomes the backup pinch runner, maybe goes in for defense for Winker, something like that. But I would expect three quarters of the
