I'm Clay Link of Rotowire.com here with FSWA Hall of Famer.

Todd Zola and Todd, I mentioned them at the top. Jacob Marcy of the Marlins getting the call.

And man, one number will jump out at you real quick. That's 47 steals at AAA this year for Marcy. He goes for nine in the state league.

Last night, I had a $5 bid on him, so not quite there. But a great start to his big league career.

Already has his first couple steals. But not a guy who was on James' top 400 prospect list.

He was part of the, I think he was a sixth round pick in 2020 that he was traded in the

Luis Arise deal last year.

So my question for you, Todd, is do you see any staying power here with the Marlins Jacob

Marcy?

I think he fits their, you know, their mold that had Xavier-Edward, so they don't mind, you know, mostly speed guys, right?

So at least there's some teams you have to sort of question it.

You mentioned the steals.

He was caught 14 times, which our buddy Eric Haltman, he likes it when there's a lot of a few caught

stealings because the guy's like 13 for 13. Eric will say, why didn't he run more? You should

get caught a couple times. So, you know, you like a little bit better percentage, but

hey, he's going to run, right? You like those strikeout to walk ratio yeah that's real encouraging you know

I mean small sample in the big league sorry to jump in but just 26 plate appearances but as

many walks to strikeouts right and in the miners he had a few more strikeouts than walks I guess

...
