We are now firmly into week two of the federal government, quote-unquote, shut down.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says Democrats have had every opportunity in the world to put their

money and rhetoric where their mouth is.

Those are two questions.

Federal workers, it's my understanding that the law is that they would be paid.

There is some other legal analysis that's floating around.

I have yet had time to dig into and read that.
