Summary
In 2012, a young woman noticed two blackbirds perched on her porch light at 10 p.m. — unmoving, unblinking, and silent. No matter how close she got, they wouldn’t fly away. The next night, one bird returned, facing her front door as if keeping watch. The unease she felt that night turned to terror days later, when her ex-boyfriend shot two men — a father and son — killing them both.
Two birds. Two deaths.
She couldn’t shake the connection. The night after she sprinkled holy water, the birds vanished — only to return weeks later, this time trying to force their way into her apartment, shrieking and clawing at the door like they were furious.
Was it a warning from something protective, a dark omen of what was to come, or something evil marking those tied to tragedy?
