Do you remember that time where I entered in the second act and I have a string of six

expletives? They're all the same. They begin with F and they end with K and I have to say it's six times in a row.

And I got through three of them and then some guy from the third row goes,

language! I couldn't believe it. I thought, geez, I'm in trouble. I got three more fucks.

I love those events. I mean, I bet that that for me is what I miss more than anything right now is

the experience of being with an audience. That's Leip Shriver reminiscing with me about the time

we acted together on stage in the David Mamit play Glen Gary Glen Ross. We remembered the fun

we had playing opposite each other moment to moment in front of a live audience and those

uncomfortable moments when you can't remember what comes next, which is called in the trade, going up.

Hello, Leip, I'm so glad to see you again. I missed you. I missed you too. I want to see you. I

hopefully will be seeing each other soon. I'm all set in case you need me to play the

psychiatrist. I'm going to get my horn room glasses. Yes, I need you. And I know all my lines.

Both in real life and on Ray Donovan, I need you to play the psychiatrist.

Well, I've been practicing my lines. They were always the same. I always say you want to talk about

that. I'm sorry. So I'm okay with that now. I got that down. Good. I'll try and keep them in that vein.

You seem to have this uncanny ability to think of an approach and then do it.

And that's different for me. I have to find it in a way through improvisation or by doing it many times.

I think you're giving me more credit than I deserve. What do you mean? I think about a...

I don't know. I get the idea that you maybe I'm wrong about this, but I've gotten the impression that

you read the play over and over and you keep thinking about what it means and what's going on in

the scene and who you are and then you get up and do it. Is that... Am I wrong about that?
