Summary

It was a simple enough task for former Texas Ranger Tom Wall; bring back the target dead or alive. As it happens, dead was the easy option, but the decision to relax for a change and enjoy the company of a beautiful woman turns out to have terrifying results. It's part Western, part romance and straight up horror in the short story that spawned the novel SPIDERS IN THE DAFFODILS.
