Earth has long since crumbled, and Cora resides on Sulfur Planet with other poverty-stricken humans who must work in the dangerous mines before they can earn passage to a safer planet. Haunted by her past mistakes, she’ll discover something brewing beneath the planet’s acid lake, something that offers a chance for both atonement and evolution…
