Summary

Welcome to The Wicked Library for our season of Sci-Fi Themed Horror.
Author: Ricardo Victoria
Storyteller: André Luc Martinez
Host: Addison Peacock

Featuring a custom score by Nico Vettese, of We Talk of Dreams.

Story Summary:
Exploring the cosmos is a risky proposition. It is cold, silent, uncaring, and vast. No matter how well prepared, or how careful you are, nothing can protect you from the unexpected. Especially when it comes to finding signs that we were not alone in the universe, or when those signs come from forms of life beyond our expectations or comprehension. It can go even worse when those forms of life are ancient, insidious, and choose to mess with your head for their own ineffable reasons. Beware, listener, for the dark corners of the cosmos will get you sooner or later.

Warning: The Wicked Library is a horror fiction podcast created for a mature audience. Our stories contain graphic descriptions of pain, murder, violence, blood, betrayal, and inhumanity; monsters win, people die, and hope is often shattered. There is also beauty, heart, catharsis, and raw emotion. Fear may be deeply personal, but we all share it.

If at any time a story takes you to a place too dark, turn on the lights, press pause, or press stop. And always remember, that unlike in the real world, these nightmares, and your participation in them, are under your control.

You might know me from a horror borealis or the cryptickeeper or a bunch of scary shows all over this big internet. I'm the first guest host and there will be
