0:28.6	New York. Daniel Griffin. Hello everybody. Daniel, one of the questions I often get is
0:36.0	how we doing? How's the match between the flu vaccines and the current strains?
0:42.9	You know, we quoted some research last couple episodes back actually. You know, one of the best
0:49.7	ways to get a sense of what's going to happen here is to look at the Southern hemisphere because
0:53.3	they're ahead of us. They just had their winter. And it was about 50%. Actually, it looked like a
0:59.8	pretty good match, about a 50% reduction in progression to hospitalization, symptomatic disease that
1:05.7	required presentation to medical care. So, you know, I think that, you know, it's pretty encouraging.
1:13.2	The only problem is, you know what, if you don't get the vaccine, its efficacy is zero.
1:18.3	Are you serious?
1:19.1	You gotta actually get the vaccine and we're not doing a good job. So, yeah, get those arms out
1:27.6	there. You know, I've talked about, I was looking at this again today and I think I'm going to
1:30.8	like take a picture of this and then keep it for we'll look at it in December and then we'll
1:35.6	look at it again after the December holidays. But they do a map and you can see the influenza
1:42.2	is localized in certain areas and they actually have new colors now. We know, instead of just red,
1:49.9	it now goes into like brown and purple, not just high, but very high and extraordinarily high.
1:56.5	You know, it's like that old documentary where, you know, they turn up the stereo to 12.
2:03.6	So, we're now up to 12 on the flu tracker. But what do you think is going to happen?
2:08.5	And I don't think it takes a rocket scientist, but, you know, a lot of these university, college kids,
2:14.8	a lot of people are traveling to be home with the family and then they all share a lot of stuff
