And really most of the frenzy happened in the tampering period, Matt, before free agency actually got rolling, but still seeing a few things happen.

Some more free agents signing.

The flow is a little bit slower.

But before we get to our Twitter Thursday questions, there's a couple of big trades that happened in the last 24 hours that we should get to.

And let's start with the latest one.

And that is a big one. And I love it for the

Eagles. The Detroit Lions have traded cornerback Darius Slay to the Eagles for third and fifth

round draft picks in this upcoming draft. And Slay has already reached an agreement on a three-year

extension, according to Adam Schaefter, a three years, $50 million that includes $30 million guaranteed.

So the Eagles basically got a little bit older corner than the Miami Dolphins did.

They had to pay a third and fifth round draft pick for trade, but they got them for less money

than the Dolphins did Byron Jones.

And the Eagles were apparently in on Byron Jones.

So do you think they ended up maybe lucking out and getting a better deal, even though

they had to give up the draft picks?

That's a good question.

I prefer Jones as a player, but not by leaps and bounds and his age factors into that
