First, there is a new bit of news that affects the team I cover of the San Francisco 49ers

running back Rahim Mostert requesting a trade, Matt.

I want to talk about your fantasy league, the Scott Fishbowl, which really kicks off this whole thing, too.

But as far as league news goes, today, the big news around the league is, you know,

a starting caliber running back, Rahim Mostert being paid like a special teamer that he had been

for the first six years of his career, 28 years old requesting a trade now that it's looking like

he could be the number one back in San Francisco when you're the number one back for a Kyle

Shanahan team, you tend to put up a lot of output in a lot of yards and he wants to be paid like that.

What was your takeaway before I give my input with Rahim Mostert requesting a trade officially through his agent and his agent made it public on Twitter?

Yeah, and a couple of things came to mind is first of all, you would think running backs want to trade into the Shanahan system, not out.

Yes.

You know, I mean, it's very helpful for your bottom line and the back of your football card.

You mentioned he's 28, so he hasn't made any money by NFL standards for a 28 year old.

So you might as well shoot your guns while you can.

I mean, it's probably the highest your stock's going to be.

Can't hurt you to roll the dice.
