So Wednesday evening, a nice little nugget for us here from Adam Schaefter, who said the NFL playoff structure is about to be changed.

Under the current CBA proposal, seven teams from each conference will make the playoffs with the only buy per

conference, with only one buy per conference, sources tell ESPN it would go into effect this

upcoming season.

And he says under the current transformational proposal of the collective bargaining agreement

that NFL owners are pushing for, there would be more drama at the end of

the regular season and six games on wildcard weekend. So that is a big shakeup to the

playoff structure and Schaefter makes it sound like it's going to be changed. It's more than just

a proposal. And I guess the owners do have that much power. They're like, well, this is the

proposal. So that means this is going to happen. They're like, well, this is the proposal.

And I didn't originally like it, but I was kind of told when I was up at Steelers training camp that this is get pretty used to this idea.
