It was a great conversation and I didn't realize that Richard is a kind of an MMT guy and they were talking about his book and I kind of figured that out after about 15 minutes or so of them talking and I just really fascinated to talk to just really fascinated to talk to Mike because Mike was discussing some potential benefits to government spending and having the Fed monetize the government debt or you know

print money or whatever you want to say and and you know that's not my view.

As you guys know, I do a lot of thinking on this.

And my belief is that we need smaller government and that's going to be the way, the best path forward,

although there's always a cost-benefit analysis. But Mike's a really smart guy. Mike's a lot smarter than I am.

So I wanted to invite him on today to discuss this and see if I might have some blind spots

or just have a healthy back and forth and see if I can kind of sharpen my thinking.
