My name is Jeff Gluck, and I'm along with my co-worker, Dorianchi.

We are motorsports writers for The Athletic.

And today we're here to talk about the Cota NASCAR race.

I'm actually sitting here right now in Austin, Texas, looking at the front stretch,

out this window, this little radio room here, sort of right as they come on to the straightaway

here and the sun is setting on quite a eventful race, certainly an eventful finish.

Jordan, how are you doing today?

I am doing very well, Jeff, and I just, for first and foremost, I just want to make sure that I don't

ignore this. I feel like it is the elephant in the room. And it really needs to be said.

Jeff Glock's biggest disappointment of 2022 was which organization, track house racing.

And they have been the best organization, arguably, outside of maybe Hendrick Motorsports,

who's got three wins, but consistently have been up front running while leading laps,

and today got their first breakthrough victory.

Of course, I knew you were going to bring this up.

And obviously, I'm completely prepared to, I've been prepared for weeks, obviously, seeing how well they've been running to, uh, to point out.

I mean, I even pointed out on Twitter today, how what a bad take that was.

When Justin Marks walked in, by the way, um, he came up to me and said, you're eating crow, buddy. But to be honest, it's, it's, it's kind of been a running joke between me and Justin,

uh, who, I mean, I, you know, I went to elementary school with Justin Marks.

Um, and I can't say we've been like lifelong friends or something like that, but we knew

each other certainly for a long time.
