Hello everybody and welcome to another episode of annual past.

This is the podcast where we talk about theme parks and attractions and shows and all kinds of

fun stuff like that. I am your host, Jack Patillo, and of course, I am always joined by the lovely

and talented and beautiful Jeffrey Ramsey. Hi, Jeff. Hello, Jack. How are you doing? I'm doing

all right. It is very hot today. It was nice and rainy this morning, but now it's all hot and gross outside, and I'm not a fan of that.

It's going to rain again. It's going to rain while we do this podcast, I bet. That would be rad. went to a theme park. I went to Las Vegas with my girlfriend,

and we went to the new Miao Wolf exhibition. Oh, that's right. You went to a Mega Mart.

We went to a Mega Mart in Area 15, yeah. Oh, how was it? It was everything you would expect it to be.

Oh, man. If you've never been to a Meow Wolf exhibition, they are an art collective from Santa Fe, New Mexico, and while not a theme park, it's definitely like an adult playground on an acid trip.

Like, it's, it's the original one is inside of a, it's a, what would you call it interactive art experience inside of an old bowling alley that's got like three or four floors of rooms and art to explore and interact with that

encompasses or comprises an unsolvable mystery that you can just go through and touch stuff and

look at pretty stuff and hear cool sounds, or you can dive in and try to solve this mystery of which

there are hours and hours and hours of content to pour through. This one, it feels like a,

like an, it totally different scene. You know, this one's very space and kind of alien,

alternate dimension related, but handled with similar gusto and, and attention to detail,

and just really neat and exciting. But it also

feels kind of like an improvement because you go in through the Omega Mart, which is a working

functioning grocery store, Jack, where all those weird, bizarre products, you can buy most of them.

Oh, really? I was wondering about that. I saw some of your photos on Instagram. Yeah, like I bought a

gerpil soda and I bought some

candy called Dragon Arteries. It was just red licorish. But yeah, they have all kinds of wacky stuff.
